What really is WEB 2.0?

Coined during a conference brainstorming session with MediaLife International, a simple way of describing WEB 2.0 is -
- everyone coming together
- with common interest
- interact, share and play on the site.
Look at YouTube, MySpace, Friendster and other social ‘book-marking’ sites.
Do you find anything in common like…
- fun
- simple sign-up for updates
- interactive user-interface
- easy to link-up with others [just ‘invite’ or search]
- leave short messages to communicate with your new-found internet friends
After all, it’s all about human interaction.
And all of these can nowadays be done by using Wordpress, Blogger or any other Blog software!
